Teriyaki Madness, the Seattle-style Teriyaki Shop franchise with locations all over the country, will open its first Atlanta outpost on November 1, 2022, according to a press release. Local resident Gonzalo de Aristegui is the franchisee bringing the quick service restaurant, to 1923 Howell Mill Road.

De Aristegui’s Seattle-style Teriyaki Shop will offer teriyaki bowls filled with all-natural marinated chicken, steak, salmon, or tofu with stir-fry veggies and a base of steamed white, brown or fried rice or Yakisoba noodles.

De Aristegui spent 20 years with Coca-Cola before starting his first business in the beverage industry, and for the past four-and-a-half years, has owned and operated two Italian restaurants in Atlanta — Cibo e Beve in Sandy Springs and Toscano Ristorante Italiano in Atlantic Station. His Teriyaki Madness location will expand his portfolio into the world of franchising and he has plans to open two additional locations in the Atlanta area within the next two years with one in Sandy Springs, the other in Decatur.

To celebrate the Howell Mill Road opening, De Aristegui is inviting locals out to the shop’s grand opening now through November 2, 2022:

“The Atlanta market is looking for delicious and healthy food options,” De Aristegui said in the release. “Our Teriyaki Madness is in a unique position to provide the missing piece to those foodies in our community.”

Teriyaki Madness is expanding rapidly in markets across the U.S. and was named the number one Fastest-Growing Big Restaurant Chain in 2021 by Restaurant Business. The company will open almost 140 locations open by the end of this year.

“Listen — there are some things in this world that you just can’t deny, and people’s love of Teriyaki Madness is one of them,” Michael Haith, CEO of Teriyaki Madness, said. “From customers and franchisees alike, the demand for Teriyaki Madness is growing everywhere, and we have no plans to slow down anytime soon. De Aristegui’s new location in Atlanta is a big moment for us and is another important step in our mission to bowl over the whole country with delicious teriyaki.”

Does not seem much different than Extreme Teriyaki Grill Express right down the road; I sure hope the quality at Madness is better.

It is, its more fresh compared to the mall food court type quality of Extreme Teriyaki. The chicken had a nice char to it and was overall very tasty.

But it really comes down to what post consumption side effect you’re most comfortable with: extremeness or madness. The choice is yours
